About Us

WELCOME TO A CHURCH WITH A DIFFERENCE

We are living in times where people are searching for answers and there
is a renewed focus on faith and a genuine hunger for God. People are
searching for a church that is Christ centred, multi-cultured, loving and
filled with the glory and presence of God. A church that will focus on the
whole family through love, care, bible centered teaching, uncompromised
preaching and building genuine relationships.
If you are reading this today then you have found your spiritual home and
your searching has ended.
Glory Divine is operating in the Langlaagte area since 2001. Apostle
Ryan is a humble, down to earth person and together with his family and
dedicated leadership team, the church is now equipped to cater for all
your spiritual needs.
The church has impacted communities both in the East and West Rand and
people are fellowshipping with us from as far as Pretoria. Glory Divine
has become one of the West Rand’s most talked about churches because of
its impact on the community and its remarkable impact in people’s lives.
The church has grown from strength to strength and has stretched its
wings to countries all over the world. People fly in from various places
just to come and be mentored by Apostle Ryan.
Glory Divine is a Rainbow nation church with the blood of Jesus running
through our veins. We don’t look at each other based on race or colour of
our skin but through the eyes of God and we see each other as one nation
under God.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testaments, in
their original writings, as fully inspired by God and
accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.•
  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father
    Son and Holy Spirit.
  • With regards to sexual behaviour, we believe in heterosexual
relationships between natural man and natural woman
within the confines of lawful matrimony and this is a fundamental
    guide in performing all marriages
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins a
substitutionary sacrifice according to Scriptures and that all
who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, His
ascension into Heaven, and His present life as
    our High Priest and Advocate.
  • We believe that divine healing was provided for the Old and New
Testament and is integral part of the Gospel.
  • We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that all who repent of their sin and receive the Lord Jesus
Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit
and thereby become children of God.
  • We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering and
equipping believers for service, with accompanying
supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit; and in fellowship with the Holy
Spirit. We believe in the divinely ordained ministries
of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher.
  • With regards to submission to authority, we believe in the principle
of being in authority because you are under authority.
As such, it is understood that Glory Divine World Ministries
membership shall be subject to submission to authority
in matters pertaining to doctrine and personal behaviour.
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances –
Baptism in water and the Lord’s Supper to be observed
as acts of obedience and as perpetual witnesses to the cardinal facts of
the Christian Faith, that Baptism is the immersion of
the believer in water as a confession of identifification with Christ in
burial and resurrection and the Lord’s Supper is the partaking
of the emblems symbolic of the Saviour’s broken body and the shed
blood, in remembrance of His sacrificial death, until He comes.
  • We believe that all leaders and those who become members are to
abide by the statement of faith.
  • GDWM is open to further truth, which the Holy Spirit may
    illuminate from scriptures

ETHICS & DISCIPLINE

GDWM holds to scriptural pattern concerning discipline, where the primary aim is to take action to correct the person concerned with a view to bringing him/her to repentance. Such discipline may involve a period for recovery, but the ltimate goal should be the redemption and restoration of the person involved.
Areas where discipline is necessary is when it concerns doctrinal matters, where a person violates the statement of faith of GDWM and teaches incorrect doctrine or causes disunity in the body of Christ resulting in divisive behaviour (Titus 3:10; Romans 16:17)
